Scorza is the first chocolate in solid form created in Italy in 1832. In fact, since the Mayan civilization in 400-600 AD, chocolate was consumed only as a beverage.

Scorza is made by carefully blending different types of cocoa beans and “rolling” a thin layer of chocolate on itself.

Scorza?

The name “Scorza” was given at the time of its creation because of its resemblance to the bark of oak trees: wrinkled and irregular.
